PROLOG
The whole world is troubled by the issue of landmines and their removal.
There are many protective equipment, one of which is anti- mine boots.
HOW TO DETERMINE AND VERIFY WHICH IS THE RIGHT ONE?
There is no officially recognised one testing methodology and way to do this in the world.
We have synthesised the best that is currently happening in the world in this field and where are measures the pressure acting on a user’s foot when a landmine explodes under the heel.
We have developed and specified this method especially in the way of attaching shoes and measuring sensors, including a test apparatus, which ensures a load of shoes by the average weight of the user when walking when stepping on the foot.

- The boots will have individual packaging for each pair
B – BLAST TESTS
Experimental setup is designed to measure the pressure coming trough the boot into heel portion of the leg of wearer if testing charge overburden of 3,0 cms blow up under the heel of the boot.
For testing via blast test could be alternatively used apparatus (see pic.1) which is able to fixed boot, testing charge and weight in appropriate position.

Pic.1 – Testing apparatus 1
Experimental assembly will be upon pic.2. For measurement of pressure coming through the sole to the leg of wearer will be used pressure transducer KISTLER model no.6215.
Experimental apparatus must be able to fix appropriate weight from 30 to 75 kilos. For test will be used 35 kilos (or upon customer request).

Pic.2. Experimental setup
Gap – space among testing charge and boot shall be filled by fine, dry sand inside ring dia 100 mm from hard paper or plastic in a high of 3 cms.
As a testing charge will be used HE with a mass of 30 gms (HE) for AM-L, 35 gms (HE) for AM-35 and 50 gms (HE) for AM-50, which will be initiated by electric detonator from the bottom in vertical position.
For the test will be used 3 boots and result of test will be arithmetic average from 3 measurement.
Obtained value of pressure must be under 1% ignition pressure incoming to the boots.
The heel of the mine protective boot is resistant to a particle with a velocity of at least 450 m/s. Mine protective boots will provide the necessary protection according to STANAG 2920 V50.
When some malfunction appears, full apparatus and measuring equipment must be inspected and then is test procedure repeated with 5 samples. Result of test is then arithmetic average from 5 measurements.
